Alkyd primer with zinc phosphates
Description
KRONOCOR 311 is an alkyd primer with zinc phosphates. It is characterized by fast drying and ease of application. The primer has high anti-corrosion protection. It is used as a primer for agricultural machinery, frames and metal structures.
Application and surface preparation
The product must be mixed well before use. Also, depending on the method of use, the material must be diluted.
- The product is applied at a temperature in the range from +0°C to +35°C and a relative humidity of up to 80%.
- The surface temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point.
- Temperatures below +5°C slow down the drying process.
Brush application is recommended for painting edges and painting small areas. A roller should be used on small areas and surfaces. In both cases, make sure that the required amount of material is applied.
When it comes to a fast-drying product for industrial use, application by roller or brush cannot guarantee the proper appearance (it can cause unevenness or lead to insufficient stretching).
Drying times may vary depending on the thickness of the coating applied and the relative humidity. Good ventilation of the product surface facilitates drying.
Stacking times depend on the thickness of the coating, the relative humidity and the size of the products.
Operating recommendations
Used containers must be disposed of in accordance with national and/or regional regulations.
After finishing painting work, it is recommended to immediately rinse all equipment with a special flushing solvent.
The product should be used for professional use in accordance with the safety data sheet and the precautions indicated on the packaging.
The product is stable when stored between +5°C and +30°C for 12 months. The primer should be stored in a closed, dry place, as far as possible from heat sources.
